Trucks A-Z 2019 begin April 1

Ready, set, GO!
My third year of A-Z digital watercolors of trucks commence April 1st.

The images are the back end of trucks that I photograph during my morning commute. After I get to work, I process them through a phone app called Waterlogue and post to Instagram and other social media.
The best way to view the entire ongoing series is onĀ my Tumblr.

The A-Z Blogging Challenge is a fun way to discover new blogs.
Read more about it here.

[A few hours after posting]
OOPS! Color me confused! Wrote another post yesterday on the same topic and forgot that I’d already scheduled this one. Double the fun!

It’s time for what the April A to Z Blogging Challenge crew call the Reflection post.
Where I contemplate how my A-Z went et al.

To put it succinctly, April was a busy month.

To go into specifics:
3 blog challenges: A-Z Trucks here, A-Z Fluevog Shoes there, and a fake journaling project that this year I only posted to a private Facebook group.
Not to mention my usual 2 day jobs and a burgeoning obsession with weaving.

Most of the truck posts were completed in February and March, which made all the other activities easier to complete. I also did Sunday posts, because, why not.

I’ll now copy what I wrote on the Fluevog Conclusion because I’m feeling lazy:
A-Z, it was good.
They had Google Doc spreadsheets, they were good.
I met someĀ new blogging buddies, that was good.
I didn’t have time to visit many new blogs. Not so good, on my part.

Big thanks to the A-Z Team for coming up with a great new format for the links and helpful tips on the A-Z Blog. You made the ride much smoother this year!

Z

I had given up on finding a Z truck. I saw another ZIM truck in SC last month, but it Zoomed past in another lane as we were making a U-turn.

Last Friday (the last day of commuting before May begins) as I contemplated my dilemma, I got to thinking about the Swift company graphic and how their stabby looking S could be considered a Z (OK, so it’s backwards). And lo and behold, a Swift truck appeared right before me in my exit lane for work. Synchronicity, my friends, synchronicity.

Zz[happy now?]

Thus concludes Trucks A-Z 2018. Will I find 26 more for next year?
Do vans instead?
We won’t find out until 2019!

4/22

No #22 truck for today.
BUT
Since it’s Earth Day, I offer you the Google Maps Car, as seen on I-605
(I’ve seen it twice now, on the same stretch of highway). Nope, couldn’t find it.

How about this “Hula Truck”?tumblr_osy08iK6Ws1r82j9vo1_500
Lots of Green-ery!
