#June1-30Challenge Day 8: 8 Legs of a Trip

Day 8: Eight Legs or Sideways It’s Infinity
June 8, 1992. The Earth Summit was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, South America. The first World Ocean Day was celebrated.
Did you know the world’s largest spider is the Goliath birdeater tarantula and it’s found in South America?
Write a story with eight legs (octopus, two cats, four people, etc).
Or turn the eight sideways and use “infinity” as your prompt.

In 2014, I circumnavigated the contiguous US as close to the perimeter as I could get on Interstates and US highways (taking the route on roads smaller than that was too daunting a task). I started on March 27 and ended on May 26 (with a few extended stays to break it up). Filtering my trip’s photos through the Waterlogue App, I made a body of work from a passenger’s side view. This can be seen here, on my art website. I’ve posted most of the original raw photos on Flickr, with an album for each day.

Today, I’m revisiting the first 8 legs of the drive, this time looking ahead, to the infinite horizon.
